This knife was designed and crafted by John Bardsley. John was awarded the "Best New Maker" at the 2010 Blade Show in Atlanta. Bolton Knife-Lakota Sioux Sheath

This authentic Lakota Sioux knife sheath was commissioned by a notable Indian artifact collector. The sheath was made by Bill and Kathy Brewer, renowned artists in producing Indian articafts. Bill and Kathy were commissioned to make all the Indian costumes in Kevin Costner's classic movie "Dances with Wolves", including the Medicine Man Teepee and all it's contents. They were also commissioned to make all the Indian costumes for the TV series "Son of the Morning Star", a documentary on the life of General George Armstrong Custer. Their work is also represented in Museums in Canada,Wyoming, Okelahoma, and California.
Their artwork is so authentic, one famous auction house sold some of their work as genuine artifacts, and then had to remburse their clients for the error.

The Bolton knife was commissioned to fit the sheath. Charles Bolton, now deceased, executed the knife with a ladder pattern Damascus blade that is swedged on the top. It has 416 stainless finger-guard, with micarta and amber spacers, and a prime elkhorn handle that is smoothly polished.

Vernie Reed

This is the very latest knife from Vernie Reed. It takes a long time to absorb all the details on a Vernie Reed knife. As you check the very precise filework on the liners, the hand made, solid gold screws, and the handmade thumb-bob, the many exactly centered solid gold pins, you begin to appreciate the time involved in his extraordinary fits and attention to detail. Vernie describes this drive to perfection as "anal" He can't stand for any part of his knives not to be perfect. This wharncliffe folder is no exception. The outstandingly colorful Black Lip Pearl spews color, the damascus pattern on the blade is bold, and the bolster damascus is complex and compact. The inserts in the spacer bar are as finished on the inside as they are on the outside. When you own a Reed knife you own perfection not only in materials, but in every ounce of skill that Vernie pocesses!

Framk Niro Meteorite

This is a super-sonic knife by Frank Niro. Vernie Reed

Vernie has been on a two year hiatas while he was building his new home. This is his first knife since his return to his shop. And what an effort it is. It was fitted to the complex radius of the bolsters and cross fled, producing small diamond shapes. Vernie added thirty-eight (38) solid gold pins and four hand made solid 14ct gold screws to hold things together. The spacer bar is hand filed and has seven ivory inserts. Vernie Reed makes some interesting knives. Take your time when you look at a Vernie Reed knife, you will need it to enjoy the many features Vernie provides. The scales were made from some fiery Mother of Pearl that spews greens and pinks when rotated in your hasnd.Vernie then cross filed the MOP and inserted 16 solid 14ct gold pins in each side and sercure whith hand made and hand filed solid gold screws. IN the spacer bar He installed nine(9) soldgold hand engraved inserts Five on the outside and five on the inside. Harry Limings did the engraving andinlaid a gold border on the mosaic damascus bolsters. Vernie hand filed the titanium liners and the spacer bar.
